Our Mission
Life can be busy and stressful, making it hard to pay attention to what is going on with our personal health. Many people struggle with back related issues, as a result many back problems are neglected from living in a modern-day lifestyle.
For this reason, in 2015 The SlouchBeGone brand and flagship product was created to help maintain good posture and comfort while sitting at a desk or while driving a vehicle for extended periods of time. It is very important to provide proper ergonomic support to the spine to prevent postural issues, muscle fatigue, pain and spinal stress. The SlouchBeGone solution covers the full range of the back to have the most optimal postural support to realign the spine naturally and effectively.
The SlouchBeGone back support helps maintain the entire back when you sit and prevents slouching. Office chairs with basic cushions don’t correct the problem of constant slouching and posture fatigue. As The SlouchBeGone brand has continued to grow, we have identified additional products to help our customers. About the Founder
The SlouchBeGone brand and the line of products was created by Jacob Philemon. He is a highly experienced clinician with over 20 years of experience working in the field of Occupational Therapy.
Jacob has treated patients in Outpatient Rehab, Inpatient Rehab, Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, and in skilled nursing facilities. He specializes in treating patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction and neuromuscular conditions such as generalized weakness.
Jacob is a family man that has been married for the past 32 years to his wife Phebe. He has two beautiful daughters and one son in law. He has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area for the past 30 years.
Our Goal
We are passionate about helping people relieve pain and discomfort caused by slouching for long periods of time. We hope that our SlouchBeGone line of products will be able to provide relief to those suffering with chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain caused by poor posture.
